ECO Funding is available for…

Eco Fit Services can help reduce the cost of heating your home with a range of energy saving measures under ECO funding that include:

EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION

Solid wall insulation will improve your home’s Energy Certificate (EPC) rating which is an massive factor to reduce energy bills and will reduce Carbon dioxide which will help to tackle climate change. Moreover It improves the visual appearance of your property.

Free Boiler Grants

Under Government ECO scheme we only can replace your boiler if your existing Boiler is a Back Boiler or a non condensing Boiler or you do not have centre heating system at all then you will be eligible for Boiler grants.

FREE Cavity Wall Insulation

Benefits. About a third of all the heat lost in an uninsulated home escapes through the walls. By properly insulating cavity walls, you will save energy and cut costs off your heating bill. Moreover getting your cavity walls filled is perhaps the most straightforward and sensible way to reduce noise through external and party walls.

FREE Under Floor Insulation (UFI)

More than 15 percent of an average home's heat is lost through the floor. This percentage can be much higher in older homes with hardwood floors—or floors made of other materials that conduct heat and cold. Having underfloor insulation, you can reduce your home's carbon emissions, increase comfort and lower your energy bills

Central Heating System

You do not have centre heating system then you will be eligible for Government scheme to get grants for your first time heating system. This will help to reduce your Bills and will make your house more energy efficient.

Solar Panel Installation

Providing you with a sustainable future of green energy. Your solar panels can create an outstanding amount of energy for you. But if you do not use this energy it is often returned back to the grid. Battery storage stores your excess energy and uses it when you need it most, allowing you to make the maximum savings from your solar energy system. This is a great step towards energy independence and cuts your reliance on energy providers and fossil fuel consumption. There are many different options to choose from when picking the ideal battery storage for your home.

Air Source Heat Pumps

The future of home heating’s here – and it uses air (and just a little electricity) to keep you warm and heat your hot water. It’s kinder to the planet and could be cheaper too. Greener, cleaner heat – Air source heat pumps use only a little electricity, so they’re a low-carbon form of heatin. Seriously efficient – For every 1kWh of electricity used, it can generate around 3.5kWh in heat. That’s 350% efficiency. Built to last – Air source heat pumps should last for at least 20 years – longer than the average lifespan of a gas boiler

What is the difference between Electric heater and Electric storage heater?

Electric heater they are typically small in size, and often touted as 100% efficient, electric space heaters use a lot of electricity. Most space heaters use on average 1,500 Watts of electricity and cost about 30p an hour to operate.

Electric storage heater charging heat, a small electric storage heater may consume about 1kW, while larger models might use nearer 3kW. That's a lot of electricity – but remember it's the maximum amount of power it'll use and storage heaters stop using energy when they've stored enough heat. it stores up low-cost, off-peak energy to be used on demand through the day, making it the most economical electric heating on the market today.

Funding FAQ's

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO), first introduced in 2013, is an energy efficiency scheme for Great Britain. ECO places legal obligations on larger energy suppliers to deliver energy efficiency measures to domestic premises. It focuses on insulation and heating measures and supports vulnerable consumer groups.

ECO is intended to assist in reducing carbon emissions, maintaining security of energy supply and reducing fuel poverty. The new ECO Scheme ECO 3 started on the 1st October 2018 enabling homeowners in the UK to access funding for FREE boilers and insulation measures such as cavity wall insulation and underfloor insulation.

You or anyone in your household must receive one of the following Qualifying Benefits:

ECO4 qualifying benefits:
▪ Income based Jobseeker’s allowance (JSA)
